Born in Ankara in 1963, she graduated from TED Ankara College in 1980 and from Ankara University, Department of Italian Language and Literature in 1985. She completed a master's degree in Social Services at Ankara University.

She worked as a Public Relations Specialist at BOTAŞ. She founded and managed the Zon Art Gallery. She served in management and organizational roles at the Ankara International Film Festival and the Flying Broom Film Festival.

She worked as the Corporate Communications Coordinator at TED General Headquarters, Communication Director at TED Sports Club, and a Member of the TED Board of Directors. She currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of TED Meşale Magazine. She worked as the Director of the TED University Continuing Education Center and retired from this institution. She also mentors scholarship students within TED.
